Where you live makes a difference! There are different regulations depending on where you’re located and what type of food you sell. Find out whether it’s legal for you to prepare and sell food from home before you begin. In regions without home cooking laws, you can still prepare food as an approved Chef by cooking in commercial kitchens or other legally permitted facilities. According to their jurisdictions, Dishefs must comply with all licensing requirements and food safety laws.

NC and SC require food to be prepared in commercial kitchens or other legally permitted facilities.

We partner with commercial kitchens in every market where we operate. We can put you in touch with one of our commercial kitchen partners if you do not have access to a legal cooking facility. The Dishefs app also lists approved kitchens for rental, so please check them out. Chefs who work in one of our partner kitchens are eligible for a special onboarding promotion where the cost is $0! This is a limited-time offer, so don’t miss out! If you have specific questions, please contact us at [email protected]. As a part of Dishefs’ offerings, we have tie-ups with commercial kitchens. So chefs looking for a place to cook, but without their own space, may rent a kitchen through us. Whatever the case, Dishefs has you covered!
