Dishefs Food Donor Program

With Dishefs, scheduling and managing food donations is seamless. Let’s take a quick look at how our service works.

With just two hours notice, you can schedule a two hour pickup window once you create an account. We will send a Dishefs Food Rescuer to pick up your food and deliver it to a shelter, kitchen, or other nonprofit on the same day. The following information should help you better understand how Dishefs works.

Support through live chat: Dishefs’ live chat tool is available in the bottom left hand corner of every page on our site from 9am to 5pm PST for our existing donors and new signups.

Setting up an account: Create an account for your business and list your first pickup location here.

Flexible pickup windows:We provide flexible pickup windows so you can pick the best time and day for your donation.

Getting ready: Before your Food Rescuer arrives to pick up your food, make sure it is tightly wrapped and prepared for transportation. We can then perform your pickup more efficiently, thus reducing everyone’s waiting time.

Cancellation of pickup: Within your dashboard, you can cancel a pickup for free. Cancellations will only be charged if your food rescuer has already arrived at your location.

Invoicing: Dishefs distributes invoices twice per month.

● You will be automatically billed on the first of every month if you have a subscription plan with us

● You will be billed on the first and third Tuesdays of the month if you have a Basic plan or if you scheduled more pickups than your subscription plan allows.

Each time you are invoiced, you’ll receive an email with a link to your invoice through our invoicing partner. We accept credit, debit, and ACH payments here. We will charge your payment method automatically when invoices are processed once your payment method is configured.

Tax Deductions and Subscription Plans: We offer subscription plans and tax deductions for pre-purchasing pickups. Tax deduction receipts will be provided each month or after each pickup.
