Having an accurate and thorough listing will help guests picture themselves in your space.

The description of your listing is one of your best tools for securing bookings and setting guests’ expectations. From our Superhosts, we’ve learned that your space doesn’t need to be picture perfect, but you must tell guests what to expect upon arrival. Learn how to entice people to book your space.

Put your best foot forward

Take a moment to think about those distinctive features that make yours stand out from others. These may include the unique location of your space or its amenities. For example, one could say “We’re a stone’s throw away from the farmer’s market. So that means you don’t just get a convenient kitchen but also handy fresh produce.”

Put together a catchy title

Using both the title and first image of your listing to highlight your space’s strengths will encourage rentees to click on your listing. Use long titles that highlight your space’s amenities and capitalize the first letter of each word. As an example, rather than writing, “spacious fully-equipped commercial kitchen” try, “Expansive Commercial Kitchen with state-of-the-art Equipment”.

Let’s hear about your space

An important part of great marketing is telling a story about your space. In many cases, the story you tell is about the experience you are offering. Encourage your guests to think of themselves as heroes in the story of their own undertakings. Have a snazzy kitchen with a top-notch baking oven? Why not put it as “Explore the perks of running a bakery!”
